Thank you very much for your excellent presentation at Arts Night at First Unitarian
Congregation last Friday night. We had one of our best audiences for the three of you.
Your presentations were very different but all very interesting.

I was especially intrigued by the approach you took – starting from the viewpoint of the artist and of the subject rather than from the painting. There was a great variety of style and subject in the slides you showed of your work and we had too little time to appreciate them all, but it was an excellent and very thoughtful presentation.

“Canvas in Colours” Show

I am pleased to announce that I will be participating in the “Canvas in Colours Art Show and Sale” at the Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre, located at 300 des Pares Blancs Avenue Ottawa, Ontario (Sat. Sept. 26, 2010, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.).

This is a juried show.

This is an event hosted by the Ottawa Museum Network:

This show features 60 Eastern Ontario artists in the heritage forest of Richelieu Park. There will be musicians performing in the park. It will be a great opportunity for a family outing/event. The art will be outdoors unless the weather is uncooperative, in which case the artists will be indoors in the Community Center.

I received countless compliments from people who have seen these shows. Most people were impressed with the accuracy and detail of my paintings, and especially the portraits. They were also impressed with the diversity of subjects that I paint.
